Refund & Membership Policy

At History 98520, we are dedicated to the restoration of the Aberdeen Museum of History following the devastating 2018 fire. We deeply appreciate your support through donations and memberships. Because these contributions are immediately directed toward our restoration efforts, we have established the following policy regarding refunds and cancellations.

1. Donations

All one-time donations made to History 98520 are considered final and non-refundable. As these funds are utilized for active restoration and preservation projects, we are unable to reverse these transactions once they have been processed.

2. Memberships

Memberships are a vital part of our ongoing support system and are treated as recurring donations.

• Billing Cycles: Memberships are billed either monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at the time of enrollment.

• Tax Deductibility: Because memberships are considered donations to our 501(c)(3) status (or equivalent non-profit standing), they are generally tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consult with a tax professional regarding your specific situation.

• Cancellations: You may cancel your membership at any time.

  • To cancel, you can log into your member portal or contact us directly at info@history98520.org.

  • Upon cancellation, you will not be charged for the subsequent billing cycle.

• Membership Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for the remaining portion of a monthly or annual billing period. Your membership benefits will remain active until the end of your current paid term.

3. Errors and Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe there has been an error in the amount charged or if an unauthorized transaction has occurred, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction date. We will review the discrepancy and, if a clerical or technical error is found on our part, we will issue a correction or refund accordingly.
