The Friends Of The Aberdeen Museum are dedicated to the task of preserving our history for the generations of citizens who both live in our communities and those who visit our city. Since the historic fire on June 9th, 2018 the Friends of the Aberdeen Museum have been on a quest to secure a new location while hundreds of volunteers and supporters assist with the recovery and restoration of the artifacts, documents, and museum pieces damaged in the fire.
“We are acquiring a historic building that we will renovate to house the new Aberdeen Museum and restoration shop where we will share Aberdeen’s rich history and cultural treasures, and begin the process of restoring artifacts that were damaged by the fire.”

The Aberdeen and Grays Harbor residents are volunteering their time in a relentless quest to reopen a new museum in a new building but need your help.
