The Downtown Aberdeen Association started their 2026 Walkabouts” on June 3rd.

History98520 members joined Wil Roussel on a tour of their America250 History Windows.

The tour started at Tinderbox Coffee Roasters, with stops at the 3 History Windows installations so far. The Moore Building features photo panels illustrating the “Lumber Capital of the World,” followed by “Rising From the Ashes” at the former Pizza Hut/Kress Building and…

 “The Doctor Is In” at the Becker Building. The tour continued inside the Becker Building and concluded with a drawing for a Tinderbox gift card. The DAA plans to continue walkabouts around downtown Aberdeen. History 98520 will not only be adding more windows exhibits but will be restarting their comprehensive Aberdeen history tours.

First up they are laying out a new 4M: Murder, Mystery, Madames & Mayhem tour since it was the most popular.
